March 13th, 6:15am….. I woke up very tired and then quickly realized that I had to get up for my first client at 7am. I rushed myself in out of the shower and immediately rushed to my car only to see my car covered with ice. After scraping, I then moved on to drive as fast as I could. Halfway thru my trip, I lost control and hit another car! Boom! You know the saying “your life flashes right before you”? THAT’S NOT TRUE! My instinct was to blow my horn and avoid injury, bu it was too late. The slippery road won that day…. Aside from whiplash on my neck and a little kink on my left knee, I’m glad I was ok… but boy I WAS PISSED! After training somebody at 7am, I went straight to McDonalds! Correct! I was so mad that I needed to comfort myself by eating Deluze breakfast with all the extras! I knoew that it was bad for me but what the heck, I wanted to comfort myself! Great breakfast! I was full. But then I realized that I let my emotions control me,... [Read More]

One thing that’s part of your program if you train with me is the 8-WEEK PROGRESS REPORT. It actually was monthly before but I decided to change it to 8 weeks since top boxers train for 8 weeks for optimum performance for championship bouts. Now, I am applying a great system! Joe Leinhauser from Iron Gloves Boxing based in Tempe, Arizona came up with a system that makes boxing progress reports “measurable”. What makes it cool for me is the fact that the trainer acts like a school teacher giving out grades to his students. Now, it’s both quantitative and qualitative progress data given to each client. I stuck to the old progress report system plus I added the new system from Iron Gloves. There are 27 criteria that are followed. Some criteria are as follows: endurance, jab, right hand, hook, uppercuts, menta toughness accuracy, mitt work, speed bag among others. Each is scored on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest). From then on, the average is computed then you’ll... [Read More]

Exciting birth of the report! Bookmark and Share

It’s 11:30pm at the moment and I’m still up. DST just got done and I’m struggling. I am in the process of finishing my free report. It’s been a looong process but I know it will pay off. I know that a lot of people will benefit from my report so I know my hard work is worth it. Since I got back from my business conference in LA, I have been very busy. I do my usual training, PR events, meetings, planning and new stuff that will potentially develop the business. Believe me it’s a lot of work. I don’t really have to do this. I am young and I can just party. However, I’ve always been a firm believer that there’s no substitute for hardwork. I have chosen this path— I put my fate into my own hands. It will pay off, it will someday. I am my own boss and I’m doing this to myself! I consider my business very exciting because I started it from scratch and it has gone a long way. Who knows what the future holds with lots of hard work?... [Read More]
