How did I come up with it?

I had a good training year in 2006. People trained with me privately or in small groups. The programs were running really well. But I just felt that I had to come up with an idea for 2007— something new, something original. And then BAM!!!! The concept of the Boxer Rebellion was born!

1. Is 30 minutes better than an hour long workout?
Yes: if you work with full intensity, this is great to boost your metabolism which means you will lose weight faster. No, if you take your time finishing up the drills. The key is constant movement and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

2. I feel like I have more time in my hands, do you think I should work out more?
By all means. One of the features of the Boxer Rebellion Program is The Time Factor Training. Actually you can work out for 1 hour: 30 minutes training with me and for the other 30, I will design a workout to compliment your 30 minutes with me. This workout will give you 30 seconds to recover though. I don’t think that 15 seconds of rest the whole hour is helpful.

3. What are the workouts involved in this program?
The main dish of The Boxer Rebellion is the mitt work focusing on a lot of speed. Non- stop punching baby (figurative)! For the rest of the workouts, it’s all interval training. See the Workout section for more details.

4. Can I compare this to any other program?
No, this is the first of its kind.

5. I don’t have any boxing experience, will this program work for me?

Oh yeah, as long as you are willing to pay close attention. I usually suggest that beginners take the traditional hour long workout just to get accustomed to the workout. But if you think you have what it takes, go right ahead. I’m sure your body will adjust to the intensity.

6. How long will it take me before I can be a good boxer/ be in great shape?
It varies. People are different.

7. What is my investment for the program?
The investment for the program varies depending on what kind of program we can agree on consultation day. I can tell you though that the investment is significantly lower than the traditional hour long workouts. Here, the results are better, guaranteed.
